Hi, my name is Bret Hammond and our "Step Up for Down Syndrome Awareness Walk" on SUNDAY, JUNE 5, 2011 was a HUGE success. I want to thank all of my Bret's Best Buddies who came and walked with me to show support for the DSAGSL and all of my Down Syndrome friends. 

I would like your support again for  "Walk In The Park for Down Syndrome" before the Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs baseball game on Sept. 24th. The top fundraisers get to be on the field as part of the starting line up. In 2008 I got to be at first base with Albert Pujols and in 2009 I was the top fundraiser and I donated my first pitch to my good friend Hannah Benson.  With your support, if I am fortunate enough to raise enough money to be on the field again, I will be donating my place in the starting lineup to another Down Syndrome child so he or she can have the same once in a life time experience that Hannah and I had.  My dream someday is that all of my Down Syndrome friends will get to be in the starting line-up!

So "GET OFF THE COUCH" and come walk with me before the Cardinals and Cubs game on Sept. 24th, 2011 so we can show support for Down Syndrome, the DSAGSL and all the wonderful things they do for us. Each $100 donation gets a free ticket to the game. All donations must be made by June 30th, 2011 for them to count for me.
