Project Kaelyn is working with area contractors, builders, and suppliers to provide the Adam’s Family with the appropriate home to keep Kaelyn healthy. This home will be equipped with all of the supplies and meet all of the standards in order for her to be at home, safe, with her family. We are asking that you and your church families prayerfully consider providing financially to is cause.
Kaelyn’s Story: As told by Cal Adams
On December 21, 2009, we received the news that our five-year old daughter had T-cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). We were not expecting this diagnosis because she was so full of life and not a sickly child. She had battled an infection (so we thought) for a month or so. As we prepared to visit family for Christmas we took her back to her doctor for a booster shot to help her get over her "infection". Her doctor sent her for tests and discovered a large mass in her chest. He sent us to St. Jude's hospital that night and had her admitted. Since we have been in Memphis, we have had ups and downs and downs and downs followed by a few more ups! The first three weeks were very difficult on Kaelyn, but she has steadily improved over the last few weeks. We continue to look to the Lord for her complete healing! Kaelyn is continuing to fight her disease and has shown great determination, strength, and most of all faith in God. Kaelyn has ministered to the nurses and doctors of St. Jude and will continue to minister throughout her life.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
