We know to walk or run a full or half marathon it takes inspiration, determination, and persistence. Those are exactly the things we hope to instill in the children we see who wake up every day facing challenges like spina bifida, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, seizure disorders, speech delays, ADD, ADHD, and more. Every year we see 700 children and we never turn a child away whose family cannot afford the full costs of our care. We face a shortfall of $700,000 per year because none are turned away - that's about $1,000 for every child we see.
As you train you can raise money to help make sure none are turned away. Every $20 you raise provides an hour of care. Every $1,000 you raise covers the cost of one child for an entire year.
As part of our team you'll get a full program that includes:
* Weekly fundraising tip emails
* Weekly group long runs on Saturday starting in January
* Workshops on Shoe fit, Injury prevention, cross-training, and nutrition
We'll also offer incentives like a team jersey and more!
