My wonderful wife Dana was diagnosed with PH approximately 7 years ago.  The PH Team @ Columbia is excellent, caring and on the cutting edge in terms of new medicines, treatment, and support groups.  Dana is doing much better than at this juncture in time than last year.  One huge reason was & is the support of so many of you who donated towards last years walk.  Dana continuously makes progress, healing little by little every day and is an inspiration to everyone around her by her strength, relentlessness, and intestinal fortitude.  I, as a caregiver, always do my best to ensure her safety, health and overall well-being.  Although it is difficult at times, The Race to Find a Cure, is a constant goal and reminder, and allows us to stay focused, upbeat, and strong in the face of adversity, and even in the occurrance of a setback.  I, along with everyone's generous help was able to raise over approximately $6, 500 for the 5th Annual NY Fun Walk for PH.  I also estimated approximately 40 participants for Dana alone.  My goal this year is to double the amount of walkers and raise at least $5, 000 to present to the PH Association.
