Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Special Olympics of Nebraska!

 

On Saturday December 13th, I will be jumping into the very cold water of Lake Zorinsky in Omaha.  Last year, the ice was 3" inches thick and had to be broken up by the Fire Department so we could plunge.  

Your support of Special Olympics is supporting boys and girls, men and women who are competing in athletics despite often very challenging intellectual disabilities.   Special Olympians are not looking for a hand out as they pull themselves up by their own boot straps.  However, we do need help in securing competition facilities for the events as well as supporting programs such as health, dental and vision check ups that are offered with some of the events - often the only health care these special atheletes receive in a year.
