Mission: The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) was founded in 1973 to support cancer research in the laboratory. NFCR research conducted at both the cellular and molecular levels is leading to better prevention, earlier diagnosis, new treatments and eventually a cure of cancer. By supporting the best ideas of the best minds and by facilitating collaboration among NFCR Project Directors, advances in one field contribute to discoveries in another.
