Brian "Bighead" Wilson's Fundraising Page
I want to thank you for taking the time to check out my webpage and the SUPER PLUNGE challenge I have agreed to complete. Your support means the world to me and will make the world of difference in the lives of some wonderful and gifted athletes.
For those curious about the Super Plunge, it is a spirited event lasting a mere 24 hours. I have agreed to jump in the cool refreshing waters of the picturesque Longview Lake at the end of January. Yep, I am going to jump in the frozen lake ever hour on the hour for 24 hours. I will start at noon on Friday, January 30th and the final plunge will be at noon on the next day.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THE SUPER PLUNGE IS LESS THAN 24 HOURS AWAY!
The second part of the challenge is raising a minimum of $5,000 for the Special Olympics. I am not worried. I have been blessed with wonder friends and family members who understand the impact the Special Olympics have on so many of the lives. If you have ever witnessed a Special Olympics event you understand why I have agreed to challenge myself by participating in the Super Plunge. I hope I can approach this challenge with a fraction of the courage and spirit as the Special Olympic Athletes.
With your help, I know WE can reach this goal together. Remember ANY donation is a GREAT donation. If you would like to make a donation by check or cash, you can drop it off or send it to: LSPD (10 NE Tudor Rd, LSMO 64086; attn Brian Wilson) or CAMP BOW WOW (1010 SE Hamblen Rd, LSMO 64081). Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate to me, so please donate now!
So thanks again taking the time to read my page and for donating. Many thanks for your support. Most importantly, thank you for being a fan. If you would like to come cheer me on during one of the 24 plunges, let me know and I will send you some information.
One last favor, please forward this link to everyone you know with a BIG heart and share the same kindness you have shown today.
Your Buddy,
Sgt. Brian "Bighead" Wilson
