WHAT IS THE SUPERPLUNGE YOU ASK?? Most of you have heard of the Polar Bear Plunge... but in case you haven't, here's some background. (My past supporters, skip this part!)

About the Polar Bear Plunge:
This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity for individuals, businesses and organizations to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping, diving or crawling into the sparkling, frigid waters of Longview Lake. Since its inception 13 years ago, 6,263 Missourians have taken the plunge in lakes across the state, raising $1,304,669. I myself have raised over $2,500.00 dollars in the past two years for this cause.

NOW the SUPEREPLUNGE:

The SuperPlunge is different than the Polar Bear Plunge in many ways.  First, you have to be a dedicated little bear to attempt this.  Not only do SuperPlungers jump/dive/crawl into Longview Lake, we do it TWENTY-FOUR times in TWENTY-FOUR hours!  That's right: every hour, on the hour, I will be swimming in ice cold water in the middle of winter.  But here's the catch: in order to even attempt the SuperPlunge, I will have to raise at LEAST $5,000.00. That's where you come in!! PLEASE help this wonderful cause by donating SOMETHING, even a dollar, to help me reach my goal.
