Path to a Cure is raising awareness for pulmonary hypertension!

This February, Pulmonary Hypertension Specialists and Pulmonary Hypertension Association Scientific Leadership Council members, Drs. Ray Benza and Robert Frantz, along with Jessica Lazar, PA, will know firsthand what it means to be breathless. In a joint effort to raise global awareness of PH, they will tackle the ultimate challenge - climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain!

In addition to reaching the mountain's 19,330-ft summit on February 26, 2010, the physicians' fundamental goal is to raise $100,000 to support PH research and programs that serve PH patient and medical communities. Track their progress on their blog!

How You Can Help

Generation Hope, a community for young PH patients, will be holding a virtual walk in honor of the specialists as they summit on February 26th.  This is a great way to support those patients who aren't healthy enough to walk for themselves.  Just pledge the distance you'll walk (around your neighborhood, a local park, or even inside your office -- no distance is too small!) on February 26. Make a donation below, and be sure to include the distance you'll be walking in the comments field. No amount is too small to make a difference!
