Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I appreciate your support! Due to some recent snow flurry activity, the Polar Bear Plunge was postponed on February 7, 2010 but has been rescheduled for March 14, 2010.  As I was ready to go and undeterred by a little snow, we held a training session on the original date (as shown in the pitcure) and I look forward to the official plunge on March 14th! The good news is that I am hopeful that the additional time and my recent "training" will motivate more people to support my efforts and, more importantly, a great cause!! Hopefully, when March 14th does arrive, we will have more sun and less snow!!! 

Why am I doing this? Simple, this is the biggest annual event for the Special Olympics Delaware and the funds raised are used to provide ongoing support for the program and athletes. Through my involvement with SODE over the last three years I have had the opportunity to see the results of a truly remarkable organization. Seeing the smiles of all the Olympians at the Summer Games, Plane Pull or the Night of Heros is an unbelievable experience and show the real positive impact of the organization on their lives and their families.
