Shelby was an energetic, high spirited and sometimes mischievious little girl with a head full of blonde curls and blue eyes that drew you in.  She was shy, but outgoing at the same time.  Whe she laughed, everyone in the room smiled and when she said "I love you" your heart melted.

Just before her third birthday, Shelby was diagnosed with Stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma;  A rare form of childhood cancer that, more often than not, has an unfavorable outcome.  After three years of harse chemo, radiation and experimental treatments, her body could not longer sustain the life that we all loved so dearly.  Shelby past away October 22, 2004, just shy of her 6th birthday.

Shelby's Peeps is a team of family and friends that has stood by us from the day Shelby was diagnosed and is dedicated to helping us find a Cure for Childhood Cancer.  Won't you join us at Lauren's Run to honor this precious life cut short and help us find the cure so other children can live?  You can help by making a donation or joining our team.  For more information on Lauren's Run, click on Event Tab above.
