Bryan Clark's SUPER Plunge Experience
Thank you for visiting my “Plunge” fundraising page. They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the “Plunge” and I am one of those folks. I’m collecting pledges from
family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support Special Olympics Illinois athletes. Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in sports training and competition.
UPDATE- The 2008 Polar Plunge is over, but you CAN still donate till the middle of April. Please copy and paste this link so you can see some of my plunges. Once again please donate. This is a great fundraiser for the Special Olympics.

I am sure right now you are thinking to yourself, "why should I donate money to the Special Olympics and what do I get out of it." You get the satisfaction of helping children and adults that have an intellectual disability play in sporting events across Illinois that without your donation, no matter the size, could and would not have the oppurtunity to. Your donation provides the finances to rent buildings, pay for equipment and the people it takes to run the event. These programs enhance physical fitness, motor skills, self-confidence, social skills, and encourage family support.
Now the best part. With your donation not only do you help the Special Olympics, you give me the oppurtunity to jump into Lake Michigan in the middle of winter. I know your thinking "Wow jump into a cold lake once." I agree so that is why we are going to jump into Lake Michigan 1 time every hour for 24 hours. Unlike the picture in the corner of the page, it will be very cold. Previous years there was ice on the lake. I put that picture up there to let everybody know, you are sitting in a warm place, probably in a comfortable chair with warm clothes on and all you have to do is reach in your pocket or purse, grab the card and click on SPONSOR ME NOW. I will be the one out in the cold, jumping into the freezing waters of Lake Michigan every hour for 24 hours. When I am finished, I will send the link to everyone that donated to show you what your gracious donations allowed me to do, so that we can keep providing these athletes places to go to showcase thier abilities to the world.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois
