Adopt-A-Child ~ Anthony
Anthony, nearly four years old, has been medically neglected for the past three years. He and one of his little brothers were placed in foster care at the end of June 2008 and in mid-December 2008, his foster parents were granted legal custody of the boys. Anthony’s list of diagnoses is quite long and includes cerebral palsy, profound global developmental delay, failure to thrive, epilepsy, vision and hearing impairments, to name only a few.
Because Anthony has recently become a part of the Jefferson family (his previous foster parents), their environment has not yet acquired the many pieces of equipment and modifications needed for him. His legal guardians have asked for help with any of the following needs:
1. A pediatric bed with safety canopy ($6500)
2. Wheelchair ramps for the front and back doors ($1500)
3. A vehicle with space for Anthony’s wheelchair and the family
