Layah is a 5 year old girl with a diagnosis of transverse chromosomal translocation and her disabilities related to her diagnosis are severe. She has low muscle tone throughout her body. She requires adaptive equipment for any type of independent positioning, even when lying on the floor.

Layah has a manual wheelchair for dependent transportation and mobility. But the wheelchair is not able to transition between surface heights for participation in functional activities and is therefore, unable to be used within her house. 

The request is for a Mygo High-Low chair. She presents age appropriate cognition but can not interact with her environment (computer play, switch toys), explore other aspects of her environment, or practice sit to stand transfers without this chair.
