In February, I was picked up by an animal control officer, after i had spent days out in the snow with no shelter or food. I was very, very sick- I was unable to stand and was in my cage lying in my own waste when Bully Paws saved me. I was rushed to the emergency vet, where I was diagnosed with Distemper.

Canine distemper is a contagious, incurable, often fatal, multisystemic viral disease that affects the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and central nervous systems. Distemper is caused by the canine distemper virus (CDV).

While Distemper is fatal in the majority of cases, I'm a survivor and never gave up. After months of care from Bully Paws and my foster family, I am healthy and happy.
