Welcome to the Burns Bandits' Fundraising page!  We are walking/running in memory of Diana Burns. 

Diana courageously battled ovarian cancer for over 8 years and passed away peacefully in June 2011. She joined Caring Together, Inc., an ovarian cancer support group, in 2003 when she was first diagnosed and was soon on the Board of Directors leading their public relations efforts for their annual September Walk/Run. 

Caring Together, Inc. promotes awareness about ovarian cancer and raises money to support research toward developing an early detection test as well as more effective treatment options for women with recurrent ovarian cancer. The group also funds programs for ovarian cancer testing for uninsured/underinsured women.

Sunday September 18, 2011 is the group’s 10th annual fundraising Walk/Run. We are proud to honor Diana and her work by participating in the annual Walk/Run fundraiser each year. Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause. Donating through this website is fast, easy, and secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.
