The Frazier Family's Fundraising Page
Hallie Lee Frazier was born on October 29, 2008 with a rare congenital condition called Peter's Anomaly. This abnormality occurs inutero and caused her to be born virtually blind. After visiting several specialists and undergoing a total of three surgeries as well as a handful of EUAs (Exam Under Anesthesia), Hallie, donning an adorable pair of bifocals, has overcome the odds and her incredible ability to see has often been described as "miraculous" by her doctors.
But not all children living with Peter's Anomaly are so fortunate. It is typically an ongoing struggle filled with long drives to weekly doctor appointments, daily series of eyedrops, surgeries, and intense visual and mobility therapy. We are hoping that it is with generous hearts that you help these families by giving them the gift of hope for the future of their children.
We are running The OC Half-Marathon on May 2, 2010 as a way of dedicating ourselves to helping families much less fortunate than ours. We feel as though it is our calling to help raise awareness and do all that we can to give back to those who have held our hands and given to us. The Children's Eye Foundation is supported by the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and supports causes we hold near to our hearts.
Hallie has also been recently named a "Little Ambassador" by the Children's Eye Foundation. Be sure to check out her webpage by clicking HERE!
Thank you for your continued support and love,
Brett, Caitlin, Wyatt & Hallie
