Donate to Cal Affiliated Volunteers for BUILD-A-THON!!! We are looking for your donations to help the Cal Berkeley chapter of Habitat for Humanity reach half sponsorship of a home!

Cal Berkeley Habitat for Humanity is a student run organization that works in partnership with Habitat for Humanity East Bay to provide and build low-income housing in the Bay Area. This semester, we are working to recruit 100 Cal affiliated volunteers who will fundraise for and/or participate in our annual Berkeley Build Day event. This event will be held on April 19-22, 2008.  Participants must each raise/collect $200 to pledge for their participation and they will need your donation in kind.

At the workday, participants will learn valuable skills in building a home using Green building materials and techniques.  Students will also learn the meaning of community involvement and that it's not so much "giving back" to the community but rather it's more about "working with" the community.  By participating, you will help the Cal Berkeley Habitat for Humanity campus chapter to reach its half sponsorship of a home.  In order to say “this is the house that Cal built,” we need your help!
