On Saturday May 7th, 2011 at approximately 9:00am, I will be walking together with many other animal lovers in the Annual Bobbi and the Strays Walk 4 Paws benefiting Bobbi and the Strays animal rescue.

Bobbi & The Strays Organization

New York City's animal shelters are severely overcrowded. Tens and thousands of animals are left homeless every year.  Bobbi and the Strays works hard to pull as many of these animals out of the shelter system and place them in responsible loving homes before they are euthanized due to lack of space. They also take animals off the street BEFORE they enter the shelter system and work with owners who are going through difficult times to find ways to keep their pet. In addition to that they work on educating the public about spay/neuter and teach the community about respect and kindness of all animals.
