Welcome and thanks for helping to send a deserving transplant recipient child to summer camp. Camp Michitanki's name is derived from "Michigan Transplant Kids."

It costs $600 for each child to attend our one week camp but we welcome every transplant recipient child regardless of ability to pay. Your gift today will help make a dream come true for a child whose life was saved by an organ transplant.

Camp Michitanki Mission Statement:
We believe that every child who has had an organ transplant should be able to have a camping experience. Children who have been very sick and have survived because they received a heart, liver, small bowel or kidney transplant have obstacles that are different than those of other kids. We believe that transplant recipient kids should be exposed to an environment that allows participation in every activity, fosters relationships with kids who have overcome similar medical hurdles, and encourages personal growth through supervised physical and social challenges Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Your donation will be processed as a gift to the University of Michigan, a 501 (c) 3 organization and is deductible as allowed by IRS regulations. 100% of your donation will go to the Camp Michitanki Fund.
