May is VHL Awareness Month!

Annually, May is designated as VHL Awareness Month and as a part of this effort, we, as members of the VHL Family Alliance, often times conduct a large fundraising push to increase support for Cancer Research programs to move us closer to a cure for VHL.  Many of you are aware of the fact that I have VHL and have had numerous surgeries associated with tumors that have developed in different parts of my body.  It is through the resources, education and research funded  through the VHL Family Alliance that I have been able to have conversations with medical providers to develop treatment and screening protocols that work for my situation and surgical procedures have advanced to be as minimally invasive as possible.

But, we're not done yet.  The VHL Family Alliance has made great strides in improving the quality fo life for patients and families dealing with this rare form of cancer, but we have not yet found a cure.  We, through the generosity of supporters, like you, have been able to fund vital research that moves us closer and closer to that end goal, but we still need help.  Please consider a generous donation to help support the research and education efforts of the VHL Family Alliance.
