It's official! The Northern Virginia offices have won our fundraising competition, and Andy Wolff is the "lucky" second person to be tossed!
Make sure you come out on October 10 to see Scott and Andy rappel. The approximate times of their jumps are:
Scott- 12:30 pm
Andy- 12:45 pm
Hope you see you out there cheering them on on October 10!
On October 9-10, Special Olympics Virginia is hosting the River City Rappel, the first event like this to be held in Richmond. A big part of this event is the “Toss Your Boss” promotion, where companies raise enough money for their privilege of “tossing” their leaders off the top of one of the tallest buildings in downtown Richmond. Scott has actually agreed to let us do this to him- we just need to raise enough funds to do it.
Here’s where you come in. As a company, we need to raise $3000 to do this. Ironworks has graciously agreed to match our donations up to $1500, so we need to raise a minimum of $1500 to send Scott over the edge. In true Ironworks fashion, we’re making this an internal competition. The prize for the winning team will be a surprise, but trust us- you want to win. Not only will we get to see Scott have to plunge 400 feet, we’ll also be raising money for a great cause.
We'll be sending out updates periodically on which team is winning- good luck, and may the best team win! Thanks for helping Ironworks support this great cause!
