 It’s that time again to raise funds for the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter. We really need your help this year. Do to my health dilemma, I had surgery on my broken foot and haven’t walked in almost 8 weeks. We were not able to host a “Stepping out to Cure Scleroderma Walk” this year in Austin. However, we are having the 3^rd annual mall walk for the Dallas area group on June 26^th and I’m asking you to sponsor me on behalf of the Austin Scleroderma Support Group. We must keep our Chapter alive – to keep our support group alive.

Scleroderma is a chronic, progressive autoimmune disease where the body attacks its own tissues.  It's an overproduction of collagen which results in tightening & thickening of the skin.  It also causes serious damage to internal organs which include:  lungs, heart, kidneys, esophagus & stomach.  Although medications can sometimes help, there is no cure yet.
