Davenport, Marvin, Joyce & Co., LLP (DMJ Dynamos)
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!
For over a decade, DMJ has been committed to supporting the athletes of Special Olympics. From the swampy waters of Oak Hollow lake to Wet n’ Wild’s ice-filled pool, for 12 consecutive years winter waters have been served up cold to DMJ employees willing to take the plunge! This year’s event, on Saturday, February 25, will be an opportunity for the Guilford County Sherriff’s Department to raise more than $50,000 for Special Olympics North Carolina.
Dedicated to enabling more than 38,000 athletes in North Carolina with sports training, leadership development and Olympic-style competition, Special Olympics charges no fees to its athletes for participation. And this year, the need is more critical than ever.
Special Olympic athletes benefit directly from fundraising events such as the Guilford County Sheriff Departments’ Polar Plunge, and DMJ strives to remain the organization’s frontrunner of support. DMJ partner, Dana Beeson, serves as an example for her years of volunteerism to Special Olympics, both as a coach and mentor, and a recent recipient of the Presidential Service Award. 2012 DMJ team members Laura Hartley, Drew Saia, Kim Scott, Caitlin Birney, Erin Popowitch have committed to taking the plunge. What will your commitment be?
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
