Thank you so much for visiting our family's web site in my mother's name, Susan Riede.

Our dearly loved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt was taken from us early this morning (4.27.07) after a very long battle with carcinoid cancer.  Her strength and determination were so evident right up until the very end.  My mother was only 60 years young and fought this ugly cancer with the heart of a teenager.  I would love to help other families before it becomes too late.  Please spread the word and make others more aware of carcinoid cancer and how serious it is.  It saddens me to hear people say they have never heard of it.  We firmly believe that if my mother had been diagnosed earlier, had her doctor known that her symptoms were directly related to carcinoid cancer, she would still be with us today.
