Robert and Jennifer Carmignani's Fundraising Page
In the Spring of 1996 Eileen was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lympoma. She passed away January 2, 1997 a week after Christmas and two days after her wedding anniversary. She was 33 years young. Eileen left behind two young children, Sara and James. Eileen was a wonderful sister, amazing mother and wife, and she was a truly strong woman who met her illness with strength and dignity.
Throughout Eileen's battle, we were blessed to have been armed with an inexhaustable amount of emotional, spiritual and social support from our friends and family. But many people face the war alone, or without enough support. The Gilda's Club of Delaware Valley offers no-charge programs to families, addressing the social and emotional aspects of living with cancer.
Gilda's Club Delaware Valley is located in Warminster and has a branch at St. Mary's Hospital. We have asked that the funds be earmarked for families at the St. Mary's location, where Eileen was first diagnosed.
It is with great honor that Rob and I are providing this fundraising event to help others fight the fight.
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
Many thanks for your support.
