Our dear friends, Dale & Lesa Taunton, have a son, David, diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington's Disease(HD). HD is a hereditary neurological brain disorder that slowly robs the affected individual of the ability to walk, talk, think and reason. There is currently no cure for HD and no treatments are availabale to limit the effects of the disease, but there is great HOPE for the future. There are many studies currently underway that show tremendous promise for finding an eventual cure for HD.The Huntington's Disease Society of America is dedicated to finding a cure for HD. (See "About my nonprofit" below.)

Terry and I and Charity are joining Team Taunton in a Walk for Hope in Fresno on Saturday, October 11, 2008. As a team we hope to raise $5000.00. Our goal is $500. As we pray for David and his family in their journey, we feel honored to be able to literally walk with them and support them in this concrete way. If you could help us in this endeavor it would be greatly appreciated.
