I love coaching the Marion County South East Special Olympic Swim Club! The athletes make the volunteer position totally worth it!!! The parents are very supportive and the Special Olympic organization is awesome.

Just seeing the smiles of athletes who have just competed in an event is heart melting and satisfying. Their metals and ribbons are only tokens of the whole experience. Helping these athletes achieve their goals is nothing compared to what they have to teach others, like me. I am just happy to be a part, a very small part, of it all.
