I'm happy to share that Orphan Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Neenah, Wisconsin, is our October FURPOWER recipient!

This terrific organization is dedicated to rescuing the "unadoptables" from area shelters - the shy, sick, orphaned, scared or injured cats who may not be given a second chance.

OARS is a no-kill, non-profit organization that provides a sanctuary for those who will never find other homes. They will always have a home at OARS.

And they don't just help cats! Every few months, volunteers make a "run" to a partner rescue in Arkansas and bring back as many dogs as they can. They place these dogs in foster care until they can find homes for them.
