<b>Description:</b> The Saint Boniface Haiti Foundation operates a hospital in the backcountry of Haiti which is the only source of healthcare for a population of 45,000 rural poor. <br><br><b>Mission:</b> The primary mission of the Saint Boniface Haiti Foundation is to provide health care to the poor in the backcountry area of Fond des Blancs, Haiti. This is done through St. Boniface Hospital, work retreats, and other projects. The secondary mission is to improve the quality of life in the Haitian community through educational programs and humanitarian aid. Our final mission is to raise the awareness in the United States of the extreme poverty endured by our Haitian neighbors.
