Carolyn's Marathon for Charity
Hi!
It has always been a dream of mine to run in the historic Boston Marathon road race. It has also been an ongoing passion of mine to support local non-profit organizations and give back to my community whenever possible.
This year, I was accepted to run in the Marathon as part of the Thompson Island Outward Bound charity organization! Thompson Island Outward Bound is a unique non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to work with local children and provide them with adventurous and challenging experiential learning programs that inspire character development, compassion, community service, environmental responsibility and academic achievement. The organization principally serves early adolescents from all economic and social communities of greater metropolitan Boston, and the institutions and adults who support them.
My goal is to raise $3,000 for this organization while I train for my very first 26.2-mile road race! Please help support my efforts and this wonderful charity to keep the children of Boston safe, successful, and smart! A donation of any size, inspirational quote, or supportive message will help!
Thank you for visiting my web page. I sincerely appreciate your donation!
