Sacramento Independent Animal Rescuers is a small non profit group based in northern California.  We focus on rescuing shelter animals that might have little chance of adoption for no fault of there own.  Many of our rescued animals have medical  or emotional needs which make them considered "unadoptable" by most. 

We believe that all animals deserve a chance!  Because most of our animals require a bit longer period to recouperate, we are faced with very large veterinary bills.  We are always in need of donations.....the more funds we raise, the more animals we can rescue!

Last year we were able to successfully place over 150 dogs and cats!  We would love to hit the 200 adoption mark in 2007 - and with your help I know we can!
