Cruise4Haiti is a social media inspired fundraising and humanitarian aid event culminating in a cruise. Cruise4Haiti sails on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas roundtrip from Miami on November 14, 2010. The cruise is created by Carrie Finley-Bajak , Rich Tucker, and Nancy Schretter. These travel industry veterans created the fundraiser in response to the earthquake in Haiti.
Proceeds from each cabin booked into the Cruise4Haiti group will be distributed to the
Cruise4Haiti non-profit partners.

What is For Haiti With Love?
For Haiti With Love was founded was founded by Don DeHart on his first trip in the winter of 1968 and is needed as much, if not more, today. They work in the northern part of Haiti, an area which has been mostly ignored by other aid organizations. Their base is in the city of Cap-Haitien, not far from the cruise port of Labadee.
Many of the Haitian people who lived in Port-au-Prince, affected by the earthquake have migrated north to this region, while most of the foreign aid resources have gone toward Port-au-Prince. For Haiti With Love is one of the few groups established in the northern region where the need is continuously growing.
For Haiti with Love operates an orphanage for 30 girls, a food program for locals and refugees from Port-au-Prince, and a free 24-hour emergency medical clinic specializing in burns. As funding permits, the organization also builds houses for the homeless.

- $16 can purchase one 400 gm jar of SSD cream for the burn clinic
- $50 donations can supply an epileptic with seizure medication
- $13,000 will ship and deliver to their headquarters a full container of donated food packs worth $56,000. The food packs are shipped on 38 pallets or what FMSC say is 270,864 nutritionally balanced meals for children.
