Thank you for visiting Citadel Contractors, Inc’s Fundraising Page! Day in and day out we work to provide top-quality Tilt-Up Construction, on-time and on-budget. Now we’re also working for a cause – the athletes of Special Olympics North Carolina. More than 38,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities train and compete year-round in a variety of Olympic-type sports like bocce, cycling and basketball. All of us at Citadel are inspired by the Special Olympics athletes. We believe dignity, acceptance and a chance to reach one’s potential are human rights worth promoting for everyone and we’re honored to be a supporter.
To demonstrate this support, Citadel employees have pledged to run or walk over 4,000 miles from May 15 to December 31. And we are inviting you: our friends, our family, our community to get with the program too! You can pledge to donate an amount per mile or a lump sum. SONC relies on the private sector (people, businesses, and civic groups) for more than 95% of its funding, with the remainder coming from government sources. During the 2007 calendar year, they applied 84 cents of every dollar raised to athlete programming
with only 13% being used for fundraising efforts, and 3% for administrative costs so you can be assured your money is being spent wisely!
