I appreciate your interest in learning more about "Texas Big Beat" event and Cherish Our Children International - COCI, whose mission is to develop and fund projects and programs that provide a brighter future for the world's most vulnerable children.
COCI has focused on providing children opportunities they would not otherwise have. COCI supports children in Houston and around the world; which is why I've decided that COCI children is my reason to Drum up Dreams by raising awareness and $.
I'm drumming up HOPE for children like Devon from Houston, a child of incarcerated parents. Devon could have easily "fallen through the cracks" and gone down a similar unproductive path. Instead, Devon has beaten the odds and graduated from LSU because of the support he received from COCI through the " No More Victims" program.
I'm drumming up HOPE for Kennedy from Kenya who was orphaned at the age of 10 and had suffered many years from malnutrition, parasites and fungus infections. Kennedy is now living at COCI's Children First compound and is a healthy active young boy who loves to read and dreams of someday becoming a doctor.
Each one of us has the ability to impact a child's life. I'm priviledged to have my drum playing and your heartfelt donations make a difference for so many.
