Please join my team and I on Sunday, September 13, 2009 for the 11th Annual Walk to Cure Cancer. The five mile walk-a-thon raises money to support research at UMass Memorial Cancer Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The Walk is proudly sponsored by the working families of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO. Now, in its 11th year, over 50,000 walkers have joined the Walk to Cure Cancer and raised nearly $6 million.

This year, as every year, I will be walking along with my teammates in honor of my dad and my dear friends mother who both lost their fight way to soon in life, for the other many relatives and friends affected by this disease, for the many brave patients who I care for each and every day, and of course for myself!
