As many of you know I have been on the Covenant House NY (CHNY) Board of Directors for several years.  CHNY is the nation's largest adolescent care agency serving homeless, runaway and at risk youths. Youths that come to CHNY are immediately offered a meal, change of clothes and shelter.  Multiple support services are offered to help kids towards economic independence and break the cycle of homelessness.  Some of the services include healthcare, mother and child residence programs, street outreach, substance abuse prevention, vocational training and employment services.

CHNY is sponsoring a team to run the NYC half marathon and I have enlisted.  My motivation and incentive to do this is driven by the opportunity to raise funds for such an important cause.  I am asking you to support all the great efforts CHNY makes on behalf of homeless kids by making a donation through this website.  It is simple, fast and totally secure.  On behalf of CHNY - many thanks for your support.
