As many of you know, I have been involved in animal rescue with several local organizations for more than 9 years now; I support this particular cause whole heartedly.  All of my animals have come from 'rescue' situations.

Leo, Lilly, Andy and I suffered the loss of Rose in November of 2009.  She was a toy american eskimo, who came to me from a family losing their home; I took her in as a foster dog through Eskie Rescuers United, but soon realized I could not part with this little one.  She had a seizure disorder that turned out to be symptomatic of tumors that ultimately took her life.  She was 10 years old and only with me for a year, but was a spunky, fun, cuddly furry friend who I simply adored... we miss her dearly.

There are so many that need our help, especially due to the economic crisis, leaving many families without homes, displacing many loving, family pets.
