Cathy and Ethan will be shooting hoops!
Did you know that nearly 6,000 children are orphaned by AIDS every single day?
This staggering statistic saddens us.... so....
Ethan and I are stoked to be helping the Issaquah Youth Advisory Board host this event at the Issaquah Community Center on Saturday, April 18th. The IYAB teens are excited to make this day a HUGE success! We're making a difference in this world... just by shooting hoops!
Over the past four years, Hoops of Hope participants have raised over $325,000. The money raised by participants has gone to sponsor over 100 orphans, build a high school in Twatchiyanda, Zambia, and last year, build a medical lab and counseling center in Sinazongwe, Zambia.
By our participation this year, we will be helping to raise money for a second medical lab and counseling center in Zambia. These laboratories provide quick and effective HIV/AIDS testing, allowing those who are ill to quickly begin drug therapy and other treatments. This helps prolong the lives of moms and dads and helps keep children from becoming orphans.
Will you support Ethan and I by making a tax deductible donation right here on this webpage? Donating on this webpage is simple and totally secure.
OR...even better... come join us on April 18th at the Issaquah Community Center! If you'd like to shoot hoops, click "join this team".
