Can you help the Cats & Kittens?     Quarantine Area Needed.

Every year more and more cats and kittens are left abandoned.  Local animal control is overwhelmed with dogs and there is no help for the cats.  Many suffer and die each year due to starvation, disease, poisoning, and abandonment.

Whiskers Animal Shelter is helping many of these cats and kittens each year. Unfortunately, many of them come into the shelter with health problems which require medical attention, vet care, and more importantly they need to be housed in an area where they cannot be contagious to other cats. 

 Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise enough money to build a quarantine area at our shelter. We need a place where each sick cat can be housed while they are recieving the care and attention they need in a secluded area.  When we get this in place we will be able to house many sick cats at the same time and having them secluded in their own space will allow them to recuperate much faster.

Once the cats have recovered and are healthy, they are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and are then ready to be adopted into a loving home.
