It is not easy to ask friends for financial assistance but we are hoping that you all can help.

We are again trying to raise funds for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research. These funds will be donated to the Angel Fund  (located at UMASS Worcester) in memory of my son-in-law, Randy, who lost his fight with ALS in April. Our family feels very strongly that a cure will come soon to save other families the trauma and devastation this disease has put our family through.

Your support of me in this Walk of Hope to be held September 11, in Wakefield, Ma., would be greatly appreciated.
