BRIGHT HOPE

Bright Hope International's Bank of America Chicago Marathon Team

Chad Ware's Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Bright Hope International!

Mike Wiersema of Bright Hope International contacted me in February about partnering with the organization after a colleague of his saw an article about my Chicago Marathon in the Trinity Magazine.  I met with Mike here at Trinity and we discussed some ways that I could help Bright Hope by providing some running tips, becoming the "Captain" of the Marathon Team, and raising money for hungry children.

I had been praying for an opportunity like this where my running can have a greater impact through a Christian organization that is making a positive impact in the lives of people who have a serious need.  Thanks to my sponsors at Fleet Feet Sports Chicago, I will also be wearing the Bright Hope logo on my Fleet Feet uniform and race day gear this year.

Bright Hope International is an organization that seeks to help feed and serve hungry children throughout the world and their major fundraiser is the Run for Hungry Children which will be taking place in 4 different locations in the Chicago area on May 16.  If you help me raise money before the Chicago Marathon in October, you can rest assured that your dollars will be making a huge impact in the lives of children who live on less than $1 per day.  So maybe forego the Starbucks and brew up some coffee at home for a couple days so that you can donate $5 or whatever God is leading you to give to help me reach my goal of $5,000.  I hate to set a limit, because I know that God can provide in ways that we can only fathom, but I am going to initially set the bar at $5000 and hope that number is exceeded.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

In Christ,

Chad Ware
