Chandru Narayan's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page for the Mary Bridge Children's Foundation. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
Any contribution that you can make is graciously accepted. Due to your generous support, I was able to raise $1,500 for the Mary Bridge Foundation last year. The children thank you!! Here is a link of pictures and movies from my courage classic bike challenge tours from 2007 and 2008.
My father passed away this year, he was 90 years old. He started out his career in the 1930's importing the first bicycles into India from England. Bicycles were in his blood. I am doing this ride in memory of him. He was very proud of my bicyling lifestyle. I have felt a certain freedom from riding my bike ever since I was a small kid. I still feel this today. My Dad was especially proud of my participation in the Courage Classic. His is the first donation to start off 2009 fundraising for the kids.
I have been preparing for the courage classic this year by participating in the Bike to Work month in both King County and Snohomish County. My ride to work starts in Wallingford to North of Lynnwood. It is 42 miles round-trip. I have been doing this ride 3 to 4 times a week for the last 6 weeks or so. In the last 6 weeks, I have totaled about 1,000 miles.
Many thanks for your support for Courage Classic Bike Tour 2009 -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
