It's that time again! Time for me to take the plunge into the Susquehanna River on New Year's Day for the homeless pets in the Harrisburg Area. I am calling on you as friends, colleagues, and family to support me as I attempt to beat my record contributions raised last year which exceeded $1,500!
Last year, many of you generously pledged me to take the “plunge” at the Humane Society’s Annual Penguin Plunge on New Year’s Day. To those that did support me – THANK YOU for your generous support! It is because of you that I continue my reign as the “Champion of the Penguin Plunge”. Thank you so much for helping me support HSHA so well!
On January 1, 2010, a short time from now, I will continue in true champion fashion and will take the plunge again for the animals in our community! This is no small feat and no preparation in cold showers or pools is enough to prepare me for jumping in sub-zero water. BELIEVE ME – I know from experience but the cause is completely worth it and the need is great so I will endure but I need your help.
I hope that you will support me again as I try to raise money for a very important cause - homeless pets. Without people like you, HSHA can't help the animals or exist to help our community. I hope you will join me again this year in sending a clear signal of support for all the good work of HSHA.
