This year the "Bra Ride" has a new name better reflecting its charter. It is now the Ride for Hospice. I will be riding my mountain bike 15 miles along the ridges of the Santa Cruz Mountains to raise money for the Pathways Hospice Foundation in my hometown of Sunnyvale, California.

As many of you know, my dear departed Aunt Joanne received assistance and care from a local hospice organization in New Jersey in her final days. I cannot think of a better way to honor her memory than to help others receive the same loving and dignified care.
