The Georgia Important Bird Areas Conservation Program is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, dedicated to identifying, conserving and enhancing the places in Georgia that are most important for native birds. The 2 banding stations this donation will support are run in order to document the changes in bird life as we restore these important native grasslands.
At the same time, our data are added to the database that the Institute for Bird Populations maintains in order to monitor the breeding populations of North American Birds. Both causes are heavily supported by volunteer time and donated funds.
Sincerely,
Charlie Muise
