Ske:noh (Greetings) from Six Nations of the Grand River Ohsweken, ON aka the largest populated rez in Canada. I am so honored to be a member of the 2009 Team Running Strong & will begin my training this month (MAY) for the 34th Marine Corps Marathon. I look forward to meeting one of my running heros "Billy Mills" @ my 3rd full marathon on October 25, 2009 in Arlington, VA.
I am from the Onondaga Nation, Wolf Clan & am a descendant of the great "Tom Longboat". Another running inspiration of mine is my Great-Uncle & Cayuga Chief "Cleve General."

You have til January 25, 2010 to contribute on-line if you wish to do so. It was truly an amazing experience to finally meet a personal running hero of mine, Mr. Billy Mills, & Im so inspired by his amazing work with our people. What an honour! The Marine Corps Marathon was excellent, well organized, a lil hilly, & beautiful scenery & great people! Definitely a marathon i would recommend to anyone interested in marathon running. Thank you to all of my dear friends, family, & community of Six Nations of the Grand River for all your support & encouragement over the last 6 months of preparation & for helping me to reach my fundraising goal which goes to helping our aboriginal youth/community in need. Im forever grateful & truly blessed!
Wishing you all peace, friendship, and well-being! Kris Johnson
