So, hows it going? Well its been a year since the last time I volunteered at Camp Taylor and I'm going to do it again.

Just a little back grounding for those of you who don't know whats going on here. Camp Taylor is a summer camp. But not just any summer camp, its a summer camp for kids with heart disease. See every summer children with heart disease cant go to normal summer camps because of one reason, that camp does not have the medical support that they need to have a "high risk" child there. And that is quite a legit reason not to accept a child into your camp, but most definitely not a good enough reason for Camp Taylor. Camp Taylor is a summer camp where kids with heart disease can be in an environment where they feel there is no such thing as heart disease, to have the confidence to where their scars with pride, instead of hiding them so they wont be made fun of. And with the full medical staff there to ensure that these children are safe at all times, this camp is almost too much fun.

Now as you guys know, I myself suffer from heart disease. I've been going to this camp since they first started, and have watched it grow into what it is today, a place where children that suffer from heart disease can come, and be "normal kids" for once. That is exactly what i felt when i was a camper at Camp Taylor, and now I am trying to help other children with heart disease feel that same way.

Now what am I exactly doing here? Glad you asked good sir or madam! Camp Taylor is going to Hawaii!!! To put on the same awesome Camp that we do every summer here on in the main land. Me and a few of my friends are going to Hawaii  with Camp Taylor as mentors to younger children with heart disease to prove to them there are people out there that have the same problems they do, the same scars they have, were made fun of the same way they were, and told "nope you cant do that, its too dangerous" the exact same why their parents told them.
