As you may know, we just celebrated the 2nd annual Lupus Awareness Day in my hometown.  I really enjoyed organizing the event.  The walk for a cure is the next avenue that I'm happy to be involved in to raise money for lupus research.  Someone I love has lupus and chances are someone you know has lupus and you don't know it.  It's important to educate yourself and help educate others.  More than 1.5 million Americans have been diagnosed with the disease. 

Party with a Purpose!!  The Purple Party will take place in Piqua, Ohio late fall/early winter.  All are invited.  Partial proceeds support lupus research.  For more information visit www.piqualupusawareness.com
