Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.  As you may know my cousin and good friend, Yvette Cooper has Lupus.  She was diagnosed just two years after graduating Piqua High School.  It's affected her skin, muscles, joints, and hair, but not her spirit.  Yvette has done interviews for the Piqua Daily Call as well as the local news and continues to spread awareness in her community about this devastating disease. 

What is Lupus, you ask?  Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease that can affect various parts of the body especially, the skin (causing deterioration) joints, blood, kidneys, and hair loss.  No one knows what causes lupus and anyone can develop lupus.  Chances are someone you know has lupus.  Please visit www.lupusnwoh.org and www.piqualupusawareness.com for more information.
